BORNTOSTANDOUT®

Jun Lim grew up in Seoul collecting perfumes from the age of 15 while following the path expected of him: studies, investment banking, success according to the script. In 2022, he gave it up to found BORNTOSTANDOUT® a direct response to years of conformity in a culture where stepping outside the norm comes with a real social cost.

The white porcelain of the bottles is Korean tradition: the moon jars of the Joseon dynasty, a symbol of purity and order since the 14th century. The crimson red on top, with names like Fig Porn, Indecent Cherry or Drunk Lovers, is exactly the opposite. It is not aesthetics; it is the brand's argument made into an object.

The compositions are signed by Olivier Cresp, Honorine Blanc, Frank Voelkl, and Jordi Fernández. Unisex and addictive, for those who no longer need anyone's permission.
